Kendra Rae Davis accuses her soon to be ex-husband of stealing from their joint account

antonio davis and wifeFormer Chicago Bulls player Antonio Davis is getting divorced from his wife of 19 years, Kendra Rae Davis. Kendra, a former interior designer, filed for divorce in June of 2013. She has now made allegations that her soon to be ex-husband is stealing from their joint account.

According to MadameNoire, Kendra is accusing Antonio of withdrawing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Close to a total of $750,000 to be exact. Nearly $600,000 dollars was used to purchase a home. Kendra now wants that money back and for her legal fees to be paid.

According to Georgia divorce law: “Even if one of the partners never earned one dollar, that partner is considered to have contributed to the family’s property (or wealth) and has rights to a percentage of that property.”

Do you think he should pay it back?

Prenup’s may not be romatic but neither is paying your wife’s attorney to divorce you and take your money either.

So what’s new Divorce Laws having been jacking husbands since the beginning of time . If they have been married for 19 years it means they did it at the beginning of his career when he began making 10 times what the average person may have earned and of course this would increase to I don’t know a hundred times more per year than the avg person . So what are players supposed to do ? . At least in this case she was with him most of their adult lives , so it suggests she wasn’t a goldigger .

But of course at the breakup of a relationship few people are feeling charitable towards the other .

It’s mighty funny she’s gone when the checks are gone. If she wasn’t worried about the money, why is she sueing him for stealing money he made. She is already saying that what he earned while they were married is hers.

when they say “I love you”, when they really mean to say is “I love 50% of your ASSet.”

If it was the other way around and she was taking money out of the account, there would be nothing said about it because it’s joint property. But because he’ a man, the rules are somehow different.
