Religious Leaders Ask Pres. Obama to Stop Drone Strikes

In response to Easter, six religious leaders from across the country came together to make a video appealing to President Obama to change his position on drone strikes, Alternet reports.

Joining forces with director and producer Robert Greenwald, the rabbis, reverends, and priests discussed why they think drone strikes violate the Just War Theory.

“The use of remote-controlled drones to assassinate targeted persons without charge, trial, or even at least the chance to surrender, is about as un-Christian a maneuver as I can imagine,” said one of the protesters, Rev. Dr. Paul F. M. Zahl during the video. “I decided to protest this inhuman policy because it goes against the core principles on which I’ve built my life.”
