  3. Not sure if this is encouraging sign that the GOP will become more insightful to the needs of minorities. Michael Steele appears to be qualify to obtain this position, but the GOP party has to acknowledge that this is perfect timing to counteract the emergence of an Democrat African American President.

  5. Congratulations are in order to Chairman Steele in becoming the first African-American to be appointed to this position. Hopefully he was appointed for all of the right reasons and not the wrong ones.
