Grand Opening, Grand Closing:Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club Shut Down

The club was damaged during Superstorm Sandy

jay-z smilingAtlantic City’s 40/40 Club, co-owned by hip-hop star Jay Z, has closed, according to CBS.

The club, which was worth $4 million, has not operated since October when its lease expired. Superstorm Sandy flooded the building and tore a hole in the roof around the same time.

The club opened in October 2005.
