New Campaign Thanks Small Business Owners with Live Events and Webinars.

Throughout the election, the phrase “small business owners are the backbone of the American economy,” was repeated numerous times. One entrepreneur is making sure this wasn’t just lip-service and is launching an ambitious campaign to keep the focus on small businesses in America.

Carissa Reiniger, an entrepreneur who founded a New York City based small business consulting company called Silver Linining LTD, has put together a crusade to remind America just how important small businesses are. The campaign, called “Thank You Small Business,” consists of a series of 10 live events in cities around the country and 20 free webinars. They’ll also be a campaign mailing 25,000 thank you cards to real small business owners.

“Thank You Small Business” hopes to reach over 25,000 small businesses across the United States. The campaign shines a spotlight on small business’ true impact on the national economy and the collective power of a campaign that brings together big business leaders focused on changing the economic outlook, one small business at a time.

“We hope that all the free events and resources we have put together for small businesses will give them a big dose of encouragement and acknowledgement and also arm them with a ton of practical teachings and resources that will literally help them go straight home and grow their businesses,” Reiniger said in a statement.

The campaign plans to hold events in New York, Detroit, Philadelphia, Portland, ME., Atlanta, Dallas, Tucson, Denver, Las Vegas and Oakland.
