#SMARTGirlsAsk Campaign Ignites Inspiring Conversation on Emmys Red Carpet
When it comes to the red carpet, the media is known for asking celebs the typical round of questions such as, “What are you wearing?” and “What are you looking forward to tonight?†But this year, actress and comedian Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls Organization decided to bring back the #SmartGirlsAsk question to spark a more candid conversation with celebrities about everything from the biggest challenges they’ve faced to how we can best represent women in media. It didn’t take long for other celebrities such as Shonda Rhimes, Kerry Washington, and political heavyweights like Hillary Clinton to tweet their #SmartGirlsAsk questions for red carpet goers.
