Neat Offers Entrepreneurs On the Go New Mobile Features

Working 24/7 is not hard to believe when it comes to entrepreneurship. Whether a small business owner chooses to work from a desktop or mobile device, there’s comfort in knowing that you’re connected and all of your information can be accessed at any given moment. And thanks to cloud technology, everyone from entrepreneurs to executives can access and edit important files via Evernote, Office2 HD, among others; sign and deliver contracts with DocuSign; and check in with their team with tools like Asana.

Neat, formerly Neat Receipts, unveiled updates to its mobile app on Tuesday, which would allow users to tap further into its digital filing offerings by quickly accessing information; in addition, sharing, reporting and collaborating right from their smartphones. Available for iOS and Android users, the digital filing system provider promises to deliver project management capabilities and greater organization with its updated app.

“The launch of NeatCloud last year provided people a superior cloud-based solution for capturing, accessing, organizing, activating and sharing information from anywhere at any time,” said Jim Foster, chief executive officer of Neat. “Our new feature-rich mobile app further delivers on that promise with advanced capabilities such as capturing any document, sharing any document, finding any document and creating expense reports simply using your mobile device.”

Jenn Choi, vice president of product and brand marketing at Neat, walked us through the newest features. “The new app let’s you do more from the palm of your hand,” she reminded me at the end of our demonstration.
