A new tool is available to small business owners to market their events and promote their content. Localist, an interactive online calendaring platform, recently launched its ‘Localist Simple’ plan geared toward entrepreneurs with limited marketing resources that need an affordable and easy-to-use tool to promote their brand. The plan will focus on SMBs such as restaurants and bars, retail shops, artists and performers, local councils, meet-ups, law firms, independent realtors and insurance brokers, and more.The product is designed with small businesses that host at least one event a week in mind.

In a recent survey of Localist customers, 42% chose minimizing overhead as the top benefit of using the platform. Additionally, 44% listed audience submissions as the most useful feature, enabling calendar administrators to save time thanks to content being added by the community.
