Style Bloggers of Color Attendees Learn the Business of Blogging at 2nd Annual Conference
Style bloggers from across the country convened last weekend to delve into the business of blogging. From October 11-12, the 2nd annual Style Bloggers of Color conference hit Miami, Florida at the Hyatt Regency Miami where attendees learned the ins and outs of the blogosphere. The panel discussions, intimate workshops and networking opportunities provided the digital entrepreneurs with a full weekend lineup.
Founded by Mattie James of Mattieologie, the two-day conference featured a bevy of social media mavens and the blogosphere’s best such as Renae Bluitt of In Her Shoes, Ty Alexander of Gorgeous In Grey, Kéla Walker of Kéla’s Kloset and Christen Rochon of Divas and Dorks, among others, as well as industry experts like PR powerhouse Nicole Garner of The Garner Circle.
“This year our goal was to create an interactive curriculum where bloggers could learn from industry insiders, social media butterflies and the people who understand them most: other bloggers,†said James, in her welcome address.
