When Whitney Houston passed earlier this year the world was devastated, and they showed how much by searching for her name on Google more than any other person.
The annual list of most searched-for terms on Google was released Wednesday, and Houston topped the list. “Gangnam Style†and “Hurricane Sandy†were the  Nos. 2 and 3, Googled terms respectively.
Jeremy Lin was the most searched term in sports. And The Hunger Games was the most searched-for movie.
