Did you spend a large amount of your income on medical and dental expenses last year? Although your pockets might be hurting, the good news is that you might be able to deduct these costs.

Know that you will have to itemize your deductions if you choose to include your medical and dental expenses. You can include expenses paid for yourself, your spouse or your child. And senior citizens are subjected to a lower threshold amount.
