UBR Morning Post: All Rise for Judge Karen Mills-Francis

This week on The Urban Business Roundtable, UBR Contributor Renita Young, speaks with Judge Karen Mills-Francis, star of the syndicated television show Judge Karen’s Court and the author of Stay In Your Lane: Judge Karen’s Guide to Living Your Best Life. The new season of Judge Karen’s Court premiered on September 20.

Before launching her career as a TV judge on daytime television, Mills-Francis, born and raised in Miami Beach, Fla., established herself as an attorney and entrepreneur. A passionate supporter of children’s advocacy programs and domestic violence prevention, Mills-Francis takes a personal stake in improving the lives of others, including becoming a foster mother to a child she first encountered in her court. Among the child advocacy programs supported by Mills-Francis is GEMS (an education and mentoring program for girls) and the Roving Leaders Program.

In 2008, Mills-Francis left the bench to launch her TV series as a way to share her passion for justice and impact the lives of of people across the nation. In her interview with Young, she shares her journey and tells how she became committed to living an honorable life, delivering key success tips and leadership lessons.
