Leading men Boris Kodjoe and Blair Underwood are among the stars attending the Black Enterprise/ Pepsi Golf & Tennis Challenge, which will take place from September 2-6, 2010 at La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. The event, which continues the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Black Enterprise, will feature top notch entertainment as well as recognize the achievements of the Black Enterprise Titans of iconic business leadership and the BE Next generation of young business achievers.
Kodjoe, the male lead of the new NBC series Undercovers, will join actor/author Hill Harper (CSI: New York), actor/comedian Cedric the Entertainer, and actor Dawnn Lewis for “American Express Insider Access,” a talk-show style program and hospitality luncheon hosted by American Express at 12 noon on Saturday, September 4.
In addition to Underwood, who will play the president of the United States in the new NBC dramatic series The Event, other celebrities attending the Black Enterprise Golf & Tennis Challenge include actor Anthony Anderson (Law & Order), who will emcee the final awards dinner and concert; Rev. Al Sharpton, who will preach a Sunday Sunrise Service featuring gospel recording artist Kelly Chapman; and entertainers Ron Isley, El DeBarge, MC Lyte, Big Daddy Kane and Doug E. Fresh.
