Rocker and guitarist Lenny Kravitz will be starring as R&B icon Marvin Gaye in British filmmaker Julien Temple’s new biopic on the fallen star.
The film will begin shooting early next year, according to Deadline, and the music rights for the film have been cleared.
The film will focus on the making of the Midnight Love album, while Gaye was a has-been drug addict living in Belgium.
