Are there any hairstyles that professional women should shy away from?I tell people all the time: A woman's hair is the first thing you hear before she speaks. Her hair will tell you a whole bunch of things about her before she even opens her mouth. It can tell you if she is edgy, professional, conservative, sexy, a diva, or glamorous.I wouldn’t suggest women wear bright colors like reds and platinum blonds when they are working in a professional environment because it [can be distracting]. But at the same time, I feel that women and men should not be judged by how they express themselves physically but by their work ethic and their skill in [their profession].
