Award-winning chef and author Marcus Samuelsson is the featured Power Player on this week’s edition of the Black Enterprise Business Report, hosted by Caroline V. Clarke. Samuelsson welcomes Clarke and the BEBR crew into the kitchen of his newest restaurant, The Red Rooster, in Harlem, NY.

Among the best-known and successful chefs in America, Samuelsson is also author of New American Table. The recipient of the James Beard Foundation Award for New York City’s Best Chef in 2003 and hailed one of the Great Chefs of America by the Culinary Institute of America, his newest restaurant, The Red Rooster, features American cuisine with recipes that cross the spectrum from breakfast to dinner and from high-end to street food.

Our Entrepreneur of the Week segment features Ariana Pierce, the founder of Superstar Nail Lacquer. Pierce started her high-fashion, luxury lacquer nail-polish business as a student in college. Today, her products are featured in national magazines including InStyle, Uptown and Glamour.
