Beyoncé Inks New Publishing Deal, Joins Jay-Z at Warner


Just one day after it was announced that her husband, rapper Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter had signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, Beyoncé has signed a similar global publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music, effective immediately, Billboard reports.

Warner will administer Beyoncé’s future songwriting including her yet untitled upcoming solo album. She will work again with Jon Platt who signed her (as well as Kanye West Drake and others) during his tenure as president of North America creative for EMI Music. Platt joined Warner/Chappell last September .

“It’ss an honor to join Warner/Chappell Music and to continue working with my friend Jon Platt,” Beyoncé said in the Warner/Chappell press release. “I trust his vision and admire his professionalism, and I look forward to our partnership.”
