After determining that General Motors had not presented a viable plan restructuring plan, Obama forced the resignation of CEO Rick Wagoner and gave the company 60 days to develop a more aggressive restructuring plan.

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus criticized the lack of minority participation in the government’s financial bailouts.
