Morehouse College Employee’s Adult Video Causes Controversy

The tape focuses on gay black men

Resident Director of Brazil Hall at Morehouse College, Isaiah Green, has been featured in a video clip from a proposed gay television series being shopped around called “Skin Deep.” Green is shown simulating a sex act with another man.

Mr. Green, an aspiring actor, has worked for Morehouse for the past six years, and is said to have been instrumental in getting the college to address issues of sex and sexuality.

EURweb reports that “Isaiah Green (left) is seen ‘gettin’ it in’ with actor Des Epps, who plays a young man struggling with being on the ‘down low’.” Epps, a professional actor, told the Morehouse-affilited blog ObnoxiousTV that he is ‘straight’ and just portraying a gay man.

It is NOT a sex tape but it is a webseries called ‘Skin Deep” which deals with issues of race, sexuality, and class

How is this show “pornographic?” It’s about as pornographic as any other primetime cable TV show. Really, BE? Disappointed in you for this false framing.

I came here looking for a scandalous sex tape and all I see is a piss poorly written story better suited for Fox News. Which, come to think of it, is an insult to Fox News.

How do you go from “sex tape” to “pornographic television show?” I didn’t know sex tapes had plots–and who knew pornography was on TV?!

  • duane

How is this pornographic? You only saw him take off his shirt. Have these people not seen soap operas?

I’m going to need you to spell “controversy” correctly before I give this story anymore attention.

I am a subscriber to Black Enterprise magazine print and I find this article to be slanderous. In no way imaginable is Skin Deep an “adult video”. Furthermore, Mr. Isaiah Green, whom I do not know personally, is obviously a community leader and employee at Morehouse College. His affiliation is being grossly exploited. You all should retract this article immediately and offer an apology. This is absolutely irresponsible “journalism” at its worse. I am honestly appalled.

Wonder how many lawsuits are about to ensue surrounding this series being inaccurately categorized as an adult film? And I wonder how Black Enterprise was even able to publish a divisive and inaccurate story like this?
