Nicki Minaj recently teamed up with the Home Shopping Network to promote the launch of her latest product and newest fragrance Minajesty — Exotic Edition. The bottle (pictured below) flaunts a wavy, blonde wig and black corset, complementary to her current look. The rapper is the latest of a list of celebrities like Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, Serena Williams and Mary J. Blige to peddle their goods on HSN.
Minaj made an appearance on HSN on July 11 to debut the fragrance. Draped in a Fuasto Puglisi dress, the “Pills N Potionsâ€ rapper told the world why everyone should spritz on (and ultimately, purchase) her latest concoction. Her Minajesty Exotic perfume reportedly within minutes nearly sold out of 9,000 bottles. Later after chatting it up with fans who called in to show their devotion to Young Money Cash Money first lady, Minaj posed for photos on her Instagram account
This also marks the latest of various branding business endeavors for Minaj. Last year, Myx Fusions, a fruit-infused, single serve moscato wine beverage, announced that the Trinidadian-born rapper, singer, songwriter and pop superstar, was not only a part owner of the brand but also the face of it.
The exclusive launch of Minaj’s latest fragrance was part of HSN’s month-long birthday celebration in July which was full of special surprises and debuts, including launches from reality stars NeNe Leakes (new clothing line) and Melissa Gorga (jewelry line).
