Can’t make it to Miami for Fashion Week Swim?

Don’t have enough dough to hit L.A. for NBA All-Star Weekend?

No sweat!

AliveLook.com, a multimedia company specializing in live and on-demand video content, is there–literally–to bring it to you.

Founded in 2007 by one-time graphic artist Duane Davis and his two partners, Wesley Peterson and Aaron Connely, the pay-per-view-style live-streaming web site–built on $35,000 in investments–gives Internet users from Boston to Bangkok a front-row peek at some of sports and entertainment’s hottest shows and events, live, via their home or office computer or cell phone. Over the past year, the fledgling DC-based web integration company has raised its profile covering highly sought-after events like the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami Beach, Big Tigger’s 2010 Celebrity Classic in D.C. and John Singleton’s NBA All Star Weekend party in L.A., among others. The owners say it’s their dedication to detail and willingness to go the extra mile that sets them apart from competitors.

The key is careful planning and logistical coordination between us and our clients, explains Davis, the company’s CEO. Nothing we do for them is generic. If a company needs a streaming platform on their web site, we’ll build it for them. Or, if they already have a web site, we take care of all the encoding and bandwidth so the picture comes out crystal clear. We cover everything from soup to n nuts, streaming high-quality pictures live in HD or SD, so that our clients can maximize the appearance of their event. We cater to each and every niche.

Most recently AliveLook went behind the scenes of the sold-out sixth annual Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit, featuring celebs, politicians and legends like poet Ntozake Shange, fashion magnate Bethann Hardison, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and others. Over the course of three days, the company brought live interviews, performances and keynote speeches from headliners like Bishop Vashti McKenzie, poet Jessica Care Moore and the esteemed Legacy Awards winners.

We are extremely pleased with how well attended and executed the summit was, says Davis of the Orlando event, adding we hope to be able to bring the festivities to scores of new fans next year.”
