  • I would like the address and phone number to the business I saw on 11/27/10 on NBC in L A. It was a shoe make. I believe the name was Anyce Shoes. I can’t locate the shoe store in the L A area. I can be reached @ (213) 507-3725. My e-mail address is rtirdnurs@att.net.

    Thanking you in advance.

I would like to say that i’m sure many African Americans benefit from Black Enterprise.
However, I am more interested in the truth for all African Americans not just FANTASIES. The show i watched a few days ago shocked me. The topic was African Americans in the Republican party. They talked on many topics but made a point to talk about Obama and how he will not win the next election. I travel the world and i know without a doubt what has caused Blacks to keep getting left behind. It is due to their negative attitude towards each other. As the word states, ” A house divided can’t stand” That degree that most of the guest hold has striped them common sense. Build Obama up….don’t break him down. After his election many people i talked to in the Middle East attitude had vastly changed from the hate and anger expressed to me about Bush and America, just serveal years before. It was because the entire world saw hope for America because they for the first time saw a balanced outcome for a man of color. Obama getting in the White House prevented more terrorist attacks then we may know. Now having said that please please have shows that will look at both viewpoints. It’s not journalis African American knows or understand of how they fit in the World view. If they really knew they would get a life and start to enjoy being who they are. If you need a moderator or advisor on the Middle East i would be glad to be of service. God bless you with more wisdom.

I agree with Delena regarding the commentary received regarding the panel of African American Republican offering their political opinions. I felt that the topic was not a good balance because there were no Democratic panel members. I guess some would probably had wanted to hear from other political parties i.e., independent, etc. I wasn’t sure if the panel that was present offered opinions that considered a more larger picture of the present President. They have a right to their opinion as well as their choice of political party; however, I felt that their opinions were self serving, of course. The interviewer I believe did a good job in his attempt to balance the discourse; nevertheless, the segment was biased against President Obama and the Democratic party. The strength of the segment was that it stimulated thoughts about the political engagement of African Americans or people of color. This is a Democratic society in which the Constitution is suppose to protect the freedom of choice. I would have like to have seem more sides but I guess the producers had their reasons for choosing their panel. How about a second segment to provide the opinions of Democratic African Americans using a similar format.

  • I’ve had the pleasure of following many uplifting and informative topics covered by BE & Our World on TV. It has inspired me and many other entrepeneurs to have Faith in a dream and make it a reality. By God’s will, I was Blessed to boldly go where no Afro-Am ercan has gone before…I am the founder and CEO of the 1st and largest Indoor Family Amusement Park in an urban environment in the U.S. its called: Madd Fun located in Brooklyn, New York (41,000 square feet rides, games, party rooms & much more). I belong to an industy (IAAPA, IALEI) dominated by Disney, Six Flags and other large hospitality establishments. My story is groundbreaking and informative for other minorities around the world who want to make a presence in their own community instead of traveling to the suburbs/mall to entertain their children/families (eg. Chucke Cheese)…..Thank You BE

  • This app from Black Enterprise is a great tool for any entrepeneur. Like the idea of what the app does, cant wait to use it.

  • Why don’t you cover stories about people we really want to hear about? Like that young black girl in TX Psychelia Terry (Urban Intimates?) that started her own underwear business from nothing… These are the type of stories my little girls need to here about! If America is great then show it to us! I think they talked about here in Ebony last month? Young ladies need to have something to think about for their future, just to say I to can do something!!!
