Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Fercho spent 15 years with Fannie Mae, where she led strategy and business performance efforts focused on single-family customers in the western United States.

Denise Malloy joined Walmart Inc. in 2023 as the first-ever chief belonging officer, an evolution of the chief diversity officer role. As chief belonging officer, Malloy leads Walmart’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy to create a workplace of belonging where associates feel supported to reach their full potential every day. Prior to joining Walmart, Malloy served as vice president of diversity and inclusion at Johnson Controls, where she spearheaded the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy across 150 countries. Malloy focused on incorporating DEI practices into ways of working across every level of the company, in both business and philanthropy. Her work led to Johnson Controls’ addition to the Forbes 2021 Best Companies for Diversity & Inclusion list.

Alethia Jackson is SVP, ESG, and chief DEI officer for Walgreens Boots Alliance, where she leads a combined team of U.S. diversity, equity, and inclusion, corporate health equity, environmental and product sustainability, and community giving. Jackson joined Walgreens as a senior director of federal government relations, overseeing legislative, regulatory and advocacy efforts to expand patient access to pharmacy services further and advance the role of pharmacy within the healthcare system. Due to her ability to convert real patient needs into solutions, Jackson was tapped to chair the COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Task Force upon its formation in 2021.

Traci Sanders is the vice president, global head of DEI at Verizon, responsible for developing companywide diversity and inclusion programs, working with recruiting to develop talent pipelines, diversity metrics and reporting, and returns on investment. She also oversees training and development programs and manages the supplier diversity program within Verizon. In addition, Sanders manages employee relations, ensuring smooth communication with employees and assisting managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics. She counsels employees on concerns related to applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and other similar federal and state laws.

Darrell Ford is executive vice president, chief human resources officer, and chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer at UPS, leading the company’s efforts to advance DEI internally and externally. In 2022 alone, UPS spent $1.2 billion with diverse suppliers, supported 280 diverse-owned small businesses through the UPS Ignite program, and dedicated 34% of its charitable donations to underrepresented and marginalized groups. Ford’s leadership has been integral in diversifying UPS’ workforce: Women make up 27% of the company’s global management, and 37% of U.S. full-time management are ethnically diverse. Ford has also led initiatives to empower employees to participate in DEI efforts, including an award-winning Business Resource Group program with more than 200 chapters worldwide.
