The president accepted blame for the bonuses paid to AIG executives with bailout funds while at the same time saying it wasn’t his fault. He also called for increased regulation of firms like AIG.
Obama held a town hall meeting in Orange County, California, where he made a case for his budget proposals for energy, healthcare and education.
