Entrepreneurs Summit: 3 Funding Sources for Social Entrepreneurs

Global Giving

GlobalGiving is fueled by innovative grassroots projects that are working to change the world. It gives social entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations all around the world opportunities to raise funds for their good works. Since 2002, GlobalGiving has raised $170,882,429 from 430,987 donors who have supported 11,981 projects. Interested social entrepreneurs must complete an application process and provide necessary documentation. Organizations that successfully complete the application process will be invited to participate in one of GlobalGiving’s Open Challenges, during which organizations have 4 weeks to raise $5,000 from 40 donors. Open Challenge participants that successfully raise the funds are invited to become long-term members of the GlobalGiving community.
