Basketball legend Michael Jordan was kicked out of an ultra exclusive Miami Beach country club because he did not follow its dress code, according to the New York Daily News.
Jordan was playing a round of golf at the La Gorce Country Club and wore multi-pocketed army fatigue cargo shorts. Â They came to MJ on the 11th hole and told him he needed to change into Bermuda shorts. Like now.
“I’ve been there many times and no one told me a thing,” Jordan told ESPN Chicago. “Then all of a sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can’t wear cargo shorts. Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!”
Jordan kept going and finished his round of golf, but they informed him that he would no longer be welcome there.
