Most parents may welcome having a child prodigy that may receive offers to college at the early age of 10 years-old, but if the dad is already a prodigy, he may feel differently. As is the case with Cleveland Cavalier’s superstar LeBron James when it comes to his son LeBron James, Jr.

According to CBS Detroit, James said at practice on Tuesday, “Yeah, he’s already got some offers from colleges. It’s pretty crazy. It should be a violation. You shouldn’t be recruiting 10-year-old kids.”

According to USA Today, LeBron James, Jr., a 10-year old middle school student, led his team to an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) national championship, “balled out during the John Lucas All-Star weekend, and more or less is an absolute terror on the court.”

USA Today reports that Ohio State coach Thad Matta has shown interest in the younger James. The Huffington Post reports that the middle-school student has already been in the office of Kentucky coach John Calipari.
