Jenkins—whose roster of clients include Mary J. Blige, D’Angelo, Beyonce, LL Cool J, Diddy and music executive LA Reid—says those of us who skip or scale back our personal fitness routines don’t realize that staying in shape can help us stay sharp and on-point in our careers. And forget about telling him that it’s too expensive. “People say they don’t want to spend money on a personal trainer; but they don’t consider the fact that they may save themselves a lot more with healthcare costs and medications down the line,” says Jenkins, who is taking his infitness lifestyle brand global in 2012, expanding to Asia and the Middle East.
