Social Media Detox? Here’s Why You Need to Take One

How long can you survive without checking your phone? According to research, Americans check their phone on average once every 12 minutes–that’s about 80 times a day. So what exactly are you looking for? Are you looking for empowerment, approval, or validation? How long does it take for your feelings of jealousy or inadequacy to surface? If one day you woke up and learned your favorite or most profitable social media platform shut down—how would you feel? If your business thrives off of Instagram or Facebook, what’s your backup plan?
