50 Cent and Chuck D Produce TV Series to Help Troubled Teens

Hip-hop icon Chuck D, rapper 50 Cent, and celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver have partnered to produce season 2 of a television series on Sundance TV titled Dream School.

Pairing troubled high school students with celebrities who will serve as mentors, Dream School follows inner-city teens in New York on their journey to complete high school and find success after graduation.

“The faculty is famous. The kids are dropouts. Will they succeed and change the course of these kids’ lives? Or will they get schooled by a group of students who are unimpressed and unwilling to follow even basic school rules,” says a Sundance TV description of the show.

Dream School will premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 1, with celebrity chef and restaurateur David Chang, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, award-winning screenwriter and director Cliff Dorfman, journalist Young Turks, financial educator Alvin Hall, and many more celebrities and influencers joining the show to help make a much needed difference in the lives of these teens.
