Atlanta-based Capitol City Bank was chartered on Jun 30, 1994. The financial services firm operates seven branches to serve inner city Georgia communities in Atlanta, Albany, Savannah, and Stone Mountain.

With over $300 million in assets, Capitol City Bank is Atlanta’s second-largest black-owned bank and the nation’s ninth largest black-owned bank. The full service commercial bank specializes in retail and commercial lending; trust services; and investments in U.S. government and municipal services.


Black Enterprise is a black-owned multimedia company. Since the 1970s, its flagship product Black Enterprise magazine has covered African-American businesses with a readership of 3.7 million.
