Actor Alec Baldwin Allegedly Calls Black Photographer a ‘Coon’

Actor Alec Baldwin allegedly called a black photographer a ‘coon,’ a “crackhead” and a “drug dealer” in a verbal altercation in the East Village New York City on Sunday morning, the NY Post reports.

The photographer was an employee of the NY Post and was there with a NY Post reporter who approached Baldwin on East 10th Street as he was walking his dogs around 11am on Sunday and asked him a question. A confrontation ensued and police were called to the scene.

According to the police report, Baldwin grabbed the reporter, Tara Palmeri, by her arm and told her, “I want you to choke to death,” and then called G.N. Miller – a retired detective with the NYPD and a staff photographer for The NY  Post – a “coon, and a drug dealer.” Palmeri says she recorded the exchange, but Alec Baldwin filed a harassment complaint with police that refutes the photographer’s claims.
