Charlamagne’s ‘Ultimate Christmas Gift’ Is For Joe Biden To Drop Out Of The 2024 Presidential Race

All Charlamagne Tha God wants for Christmas is for President Joe Biden to withdraw himself from the upcoming presidential election.

The TV/radio personality was hosting “The Daily Show” on Wednesday, Dec. 6 where he called on Biden to drop out of 2024 presidential race. Citing Biden’s old age and poor polling numbers, Charlamagne said the current president isn’t the best candidate to beat former President Donald Trump, who is currently the 2024 GOP presidential primary front-runner, NY Post reports.

Charlamagne went on to note a closed-door fundraiser this past week where Biden reportedly admitted that if Trump weren’t running, he isn’t sure he’d still be in the race. A clip included in the show highlighted Biden’s belief that “probably 50” other Democrats could beat Trump, himself included.

“This is Biden’s ego talking. If you think there are other people who can beat him, step aside,” Charlamagne said. “I know you think you’ve got this in the bag. I know he thinks he’s got this in the bag but the polls say otherwise.”

“I want Biden stepping in to beat Trump the way I want him stepping in to defend me in a bar fight,” he continued. “I appreciate you caring but I don’t like our chances.”

Likening Biden to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Charlamagne said she should have stepped down from the bench so she could have been replaced by another liberal judge during the Obama administration. However, she stayed until her death at 87 in 2020 which allowed for then-President Trump to appoint conservative Amy Coney Barrett as RBG’s replacement.

“The facts are Biden’s not getting any younger, he’s not gonna get any more popular, he’s not getting a new running mate,” Charlamagne said. “So please Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside.”
