Ex-LAPD Cop, Christopher Dorner, Shopped for Scuba Gear Days Before Murder Spree

According to surveillance footage obtained by TMZ, ex-LAPD cop Christopher Dorner went shopping for scuba equipment two days before his alleged killing spree began.

The video shows Dorner with two small yellow tanks and a larger black tank which he purchased at the counter with cash. Dorner also was a member of the Naval undersea warfare unit. Several days after the murders began he reportedly tried to steal a boat in San Diego. Many other reports indicate he was trying to reach, or may even be in Mexico.

TMZ sources say that the scuba tanks give clues as to what he was up to.
