Entrepreneurs Conference Day 2: Kick-Off One-on-One with Valerie Daniels Carter

The second day of the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference has begun, kicking off with a one-on-one chat with the queen of franchising, Valerie Daniels-Carter. Co-founder, president and CEO of V&J Holdings, Daniels-Carter leads one of the largest women and African American-owned fast food operations in the nation.

The interview session, moderated by Black Enterprise Business Report host Caroline Clarke and hosted by the City of Columbus and Ohio Development Services Agency, is set to be inspiring and informative, as Daniels-Carter shares her story of perseverance.

A Black Enterprise Legacy Award honoree, she has, along with her team, forged a dominating niche in food services, gaining a spot on the BE 100s, Black Enterprise’s premier list of top companies owned by people of color.

The company brought in $88 million in revenues, and has 114 franchise units that employ 4,000 people.
