EXCLUSIVE: Tyson Beckford on the Importance of Keeping a Clean Image (Video) - Black Enterprise
Black Enterprise Magazine July/August 2018 Issue

Tyson Beckford stops by Black Enterprise headquarters.

Tyson Beckford is more than a handsome face (and winning smile). The former supermodel turned actor has been able to leverage his personal brand, becoming the face of Ralph Lauren, covering magazine spreads in top-fashion books and even hosting Bravo’s Make Me a Supermodel. However, he didn’t do it alone.

Women of Power honoree Bethann Hardison helped a young Tyson grow into the fashion icon he is today. Beckford talked to BlackEnterprise.com correspondent Shannon Lanier about the importance of finding a manager or agency that believes in you, the power of having a clean cut image and why he’s set a good example for male models.

Hardison is one of several Legend Award recipients at Black Enterprise’s Women of Power Summit, taking place Feb. 23-26 at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida.
