Fan Shot and Killed Outside French Montana's Tour Bus
Black Enterprise Magazine July/August 2018 Issue

A man was shot and killed in Philadelphia Thursday night next to the tour bus of rapper French Montana.

Montana, who has worked with Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne, was inside his tour bus after a performance while a crowd of fans gathered next to the bus outside a Holiday Inn Express. According to authorities, a car pulled up and fired shots at the crowd. Two men were hit, including a 27-year-old man who was pronounced dead.

Police say it does not appear the rapper or his entourage were targets, and that the shooting may have stemmed from a beef between a group of fans.
