Female Tech Leaders Honored at “Women of Color” Event

Twelve technical business leaders at Chrysler Group received honors for their career achievements at the 16th Women of Color STEM Conference held in Dallas recently.

The annual conference highlights the impact and achievements of outstanding women of color in technical fields and is touted as “the only multi-cultural celebration held to honor the significant achievements of women in technology, recognizing the most innovative professionals in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields for their career accomplishments ‘despite the traditional obstacles faced by women in these fields.'”

“Chrysler Group is proud of the achievements of our female technical leaders who serve as outstanding role models to women everywhere,” said Georgette Borrego Dulworth, director of talent acquisition and global diversity at Chrysler Group. “Our winners join a long list of Chrysler Group women who have been recognized over the years for their accomplishments and leadership. This growing legacy continues to speak to our culture of diversity and inclusion.”

Recipients were Rajani Sinha, who was honored with the Pioneer Award, as well as Jian Tao, Susana Urquijo, Lan Xu, Indumathy Chockalingam, Divya Jose,Yun Lu, Anna Lesnek, Tramaine Hammett, Soma Haque, Jyotirmai Rao, Maggie Lin, all honored with the Technology Rising Stars award.
