Since its 2007 launch, microblogging platform Tumblr has experienced tremendous growth, securing $85 million in venture capital late last year.  While the social network at one point struggled to secure revenue, that move valued the company at $800 million.

Tumblr made news this week after announcing its “A-List Partnership Program,” which includes ad and creative agencies, as well as tech vendors, giving this select group exclusive privileges to Tumblr’s staff, branding strategy and support. CEO Shawn Amos explores what this will mean for brands in the latest episode of “60 Seconds of Social Media.”
