Fugees’ Pras Says Obama Victory a Win for Youth

Pras Michel

Pras Michel of the 1990s top-selling rap group, The Fugees, was hanging out at Chicago’s five star luxury Peninsula Hotel with Illinois politicians and other socialites. When asked about an Obama presidency he said this:

“I think America will return to a place of inspiration like during the Civil Rights Movement. People will feel like they are part of him being elected. For a young generation, they are going to feel like they are the ones who can take America to the next step. Our forefathers and grandfathers took it to one level, but we’re taking it to the next level by electing the first African American for president.”
