When it comes to show business, Georgia, Atlanta in particular, has grown popular among film and TV makers since the peachy state’s appealing tax incentive implementation. “Qualifying productions receive a 20% tax credit, plus an additional 10% credit for embedding a Georgia promotional logo in your film title or credits,” according to the state’s official site. Qualifying productions can include feature films, television series, commercials, music videos, animation and game development.

Due to its incentive program, launched in 2008,  Georgia-licensed feature films and television productions generated an economic impact of $5.1 billion in 2014 alone. Popular works featured in Georgia have included Fast & Furious 7, Dumb and Dumber To, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
