‘Gorilla Glue Girl’ Tessica Brown is Donating $20,000 to Foundation Founded by Doctor Who Performed $12,000 Surgery

Paying it forward is always a great thing to do! According to TMZ, Tessica Brown, the young lady who is also known as ‘Gorilla Glue Girl,’ is giving back in a big way after going through the ordeal of misusing Gorilla Glue as a hair adhesive.

Brown, whose hair mishap went viral after releasing a video on TikTok and Instagram revealing that she used Gorilla Glue to lay down her hair after running out of hair spray, had successful surgery that removed the toxic strength adhesive.

Dr. Michael Obeng performed the $12,000 surgery for Brown free of charge. Last week, TMZ was present at the surgery and recorded the successful procedure.

Brown, before being offered the free surgery from Dr. Obeng, had set up a GoFundMe page asking for donations.

“My name is Tessica Brown and I am a small town girl who happened to make a mistake by putting gorilla glue spray on my hair as a substitute for GotB glue hairspray, and as most of you know my hair was stuck in place for about a month. After reading and researching I realized I may need medical help and my hair may need to be shaved, so I made this GoFundMe account to help with any expenses related to this unfortunate ordeal. I would like to thank everyone who reached out.”
She raised $23,794.

Brown plans on using $20,00 to donate to the Restore Foundation.
