How Will HBCU’s Manage Grant Funds From The White House?

Financially strapped HBCU’s received a reprieve yesterday when the Department of Education announced that it will be providing $228 million in grants for 97 HBCU’s in 19 states.

The grant will go towards expanding the school’s campus’, faculty training, science equipment and counseling.

The concern now is how these schools will manage the money. HBCU’s such as Morris Brown filed bankruptcy due to mismanagement of funds which raises some alarming questions.
