Judge Joe Brown Cancelled After 15 Seasons


CBS network has pulled the plug on the long-standing television program, “Judge Joe Brown,” after 15 seasons. Judge Brown’s courtroom show was the second highest in television syndication.

The decision to close the lid on the show allegedly came down to the inability to negotiate Brown’s $20 million-annual salary, which CBS was looking to cut because of the show’s ratings decline. Brown’s half-hour show maintained the No. 2 spot in court shows behind Judge Judy.
