Kentucky Man Erects Watermelon-Eating Obama Effigy

A Casey County Kentucky man claims the effigy of the president eating a watermelon isn’t racist, it’s “freedom of speech,” reports Lex18.com

“That’s my buddy,” Danny Hafley said. “He don’t talk. Don’t make no smart comments. If I had a dollar for everyone who stopped and took a picture of it I’d be a millionaire.”

Hadley says he put a watermelon in the mannequin’s hands because he “might get hungry standing out here.”
