Les Brown To Host In-Person ‘Hungry for Greatness Live’ Motivational Event In Queens

Motivational speaker Les Brown is hosting his first live event since the pandemic’s start called “Hungry for Greatness Live.” The event will feature several speakers from a variety of areas and will take place on Aug. 14.

According to a press release, “Hungry for Greatness Live” is an inspirational event geared toward those who want to rebound from the effects of the pandemic.

The event is “designed to give hope, guidance, and direction to those seeking new opportunities to overcome the effects of the pandemic, reinvent themselves and make money during this newly created economic time,” the release reads.

New York, where the in-person event will take place, was hit hard during the pandemic. Everything from tourism and hospitality to real estate came tumbling down as those who could left the state and those who remained were placed in economic uncertainty due to closures.

“We are providing this experience to empower, strengthen, and remind people that breaking through these times and reaching their highest level in life is not only possible, but it is necessary,” Brown said.

Speakers planned for the event include Les Brown’s son John-Leslie Brown, Dr. Cindy Trimm,  a popular author and former senator in Bermuda, entrepreneur Billy Gene, Clubhouse influencer Isis Djata and other personal development “heavy hitters.” The audience will also be treated to a presentation by Grammy Award winner Donald Lawrence, a gospel artist.

In New York, COVID infections are increasing, similar to the rest of the country. However, event organizers have said that safety protocols are in place to protect attendees.

The motivational event will take place at Rock Church in Queens, on Hoffman Drive. It is an all-day gathering that will begin at 10 a.m. and last until 7 p.m. Those interested in attending should visit the website to get information on tickets.
