According to Variety, Leslie Jones is joining the cast of SNL after auditioning last year. She lost out to Sasheer Zamata, who was added last season.
Jones is the latest cast member after Michael Che, the new Weekend Update co-anchor, to be added after being on the writing team. She starts this weekend.
