Lisa Nichols Confirmed to ‘Motivate the Masses’ at Women of Power Summit

Lisa Nichols is known as “The Breakthrough Specialist” because of her powerful work in “motivating the masses.” The phrase serves as the name of her company, Motivating Masses, where as CEO of one of the world’s top training and development companies, she leads a stellar lineup of speakers, coaches, and master trainers specializing in developing top notch programs and products. The best-selling author of six books and motivational speakers who’s has changed the lives of millions globally; Lisa Nichols will bring her powerful energy to the 2015 Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit.

She comes from an inspiring story highlighting her own transformation. Living on public assistance as a struggling single mother in South Central, Los Angeles, Nichols saved her money; attended conferences on entrepreneurship and brand creation to pulled herself up from public assistance and become a millionaire entrepreneur. “I felt rock bottom, and I realized, ‘I have to do something,’” she said in an interview with NBC. “I have to be my own rescue. No one’s going to rescue me.”

Always looking back, she now teaches others how to do the same and tap into their limitless power with her “No Matter What” system based on her New York Times Bestseller of the same name. She’s appeared on TV with The Today Show, Larry King Live, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and Extra. Nichols’ big screen appearance as a teacher in the film The Secret, based on the colossal bestseller which featured Nichol’s advice, helped further make her a household name and face.

As a trainer for corporate companies spanning from L’Oreal to Toyota and Wells Fargo, Nichols has stood on stages nationwide touching the lives of millions of adults and thousands of teenagers with words that have lifted spirits to prevent suicides and inspired drop outs to return to school. A work she’s done since her early days of creating the non-profit, Motivating the Teen Spirit.

A visionary leader creating what’s needed to fulfill the masses, Nichols founded the Transformational Leadership Council made up of other power figures dedicated to changing the lives of the entire planet.
