Long gone are the days when luxury hotel services meant personal touches, such as a butler on hand taking care of your every need. There’s a surge of mobile solutions, such as the recently released mobile App, Alice, expanding hotel luxury service to include a concierge in your pocket. From booking rooms, spa treatments, and dinner reservations, to ordering your favorite champagne, hotel guests can upgrade their services directly from their smart phones.

Here is a list of hotels offering luxury mobile services at your fingertips:

1. Four Seasons Hotels and ResortsIncludes on-demand services, such as a Near Me feature showing the closest options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The app’s interface changes its themes, based on which property the guest has booked. Look for the release of the Four Seasons, Apple Watch app later this year.

2. Shangri-La’s Hotels — Beyond exploring and editing room reservations at Shangri La’s hotels, the mobile app enables guests to get travel tips or read and share travel stories, and discover special promotions and view location-based offers with GPS technology.

3. The Ritz Carlton — Includes mobile in-room-dining and poolside ordering as a rewards member, available at select hotels. Guests can also learn about events at the hotel during their stay, and unlock experiences and stories at hotels with a built-in QR code scanner.

4. The Gansevoort Group – With a poolside and beach ordering service at your fingertips, the Gansevoort hotels hopes to bridge the gap between digital and physical concierge services. Additional features include, express checkout to avoid long lines, and guests can receive spa deals and discounts within the app.

Additional hotels using mobile-on-demand and concierge platforms include, the Bespoke Hotels, The Setai, Standard Hotels, and the Sixty Hotel Group.
