The lawyer of Pamela Smith withdrew her paternity suit against NBA legend Michael Jordan, but left open the possibility that it could be refiled, according to the Associated Press.
The Atlanta attorney said that Smith “stands by the facts in her original filing” that Jordan fathered her 16-year-old son. Jordan’s legal team confirmed that the suit was dropped and maintains that Smith’s divorce filings established her ex-husband as the father of her son. Jordan’s lawyer also confirmed there was no settlement or money paid to Smith.
